Turanga

Turanga is a sacred tree of the Kazakh steppe — a symbol of harmony between earth and sky, the masculine and feminine, the past and the future. Its unique nature is revealed in its blood-coloured sap and the distinct shape of its leaves: small and round at the top, larger and oval with pointed tips at the base.

But perhaps the most astonishing feature is that even in the absence of wind, the tree begins to sway on its own. In that moment, a gentle chime can be heard — like the distant sound of bells.

In my work, Turanga is a natural symbol embodying respect for nature, the strength of tradition, and the profound connection between humans and the land. This remarkable tree teaches us to treat life with care, to seek balance and inner peace. Through it, the voice of the ancestors speaks, passing on a timeless wisdom: only through love and reverence for all living things can we preserve the soul of our people and the strength of our lineage.

Conversation with a Shadow

“Conversation with a Shadow”

This artwork is about a human and a robot, where the robot is not merely artificial intelligence, but the shadow of the person — their continuation. No words are exchanged between them; instead, a telepathic transmission of fate takes place. The robot goes where the human can no longer follow.
It is a story of substitution, succession, and inner reconciliation with the idea that a part of us may live on and act — even without us.
